To protect the tanuki living behind the illusions at Yashima from their attackers, their leader Tasaburo Tanuki III challenges the foxes alone. Meanwhile, Kabane and his friends finish their training with Fukuhime while on route to Yashima, where they see that Kaede and Akagi have joined together to become a giant fire fox.
