Born in 1917, Will Eisner was the author of The Spirit. This collection, the Will Eisner Reader, features a collection of his brilliant short-story gems, including "A Sunset in Sunshine City," an ode to memory and nostalgia inspired by Eisner's transition to life in Florida after his "retirement" in 1985.
